DailyBlog // 1 //

As I have started my MA degree in London, we have been told over and over again that we are not only supposed to consume as ALL the news, but to write every. single. day.

While I completely understand why it should be part of every (future) journalist’s daily routine, I find it quite hard to find the time to write up something after having spent all day studying, editing and hunting down news stories.

Also, I have always find it quite hard to keep up my blogging routine for two reasons: Firstly, I always struggled with coming up with new ideas for my blog. Secondly, although no one on the internet wants to say it out loud, a lacking audience can be really frustrating.

Which brings me to the point of this short piece of writing.

From now on, I will write. I will not write because I want people to read what I think, but I will write for myself. I will write for my future, to work on myself, to become the person I want to be.

So hopefully, this is part one of many, many more to come.
